Kelly Crabtree
Art Teacher
Jacksonville, Fl
Teaching a student art is a complex idea different from core learning fields. How does one become an artist? Can someone be taught to be creative? It is quick to assume this can not be taught but yet something “found” within the student. The student must be open to free thinking and generating creative solutions to stimuli. I believe as an art teacher, my job is to spark the realization that everyone can be creative if they allow themselves to be.
